Toronto police are looking into two stabbings that occurred overnight in the city.
Authorities were first alerted to a disturbance near Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road in Scarborough just before 3 a. m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a stab wound. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but they are not life-threatening.
No description of the suspect has been released yet.
Shortly after 3 a. m., police reported finding another man who had suffered stab wounds in the area of Queen Street West and Denison Avenue.
This man was also taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.
No suspect details have been provided at this time.
