[ad_1]Navjot Singh Photos: Peel Regional PoliceD ue to an ongoing investigation, officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have confiscated two more illegal firearms and filed additional charges following a traffic stop that took place in Brampton in August.For more details, please refer to the previous release issued here.On Monday, August 10, officers checked out a vehicle near Cedarbrook Road and Edgewater Court and found a loaded illegal handgun. Three people were arrested and charged with various firearm-related offences.On Thursday, August 13, around 10:30 p. m., investigators visited the home of one of the suspects from the initial incident and discovered two additional firearms: a 9 mm handgun and a sawed-off rifle, along with several rounds of ammunition.Navjot Singh, 29, from Innisfail, Alberta, has been further charged with:Careless Storage of Firearm Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (two counts) Careless Storage of Ammunition Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition (two counts) Failure to Comply with UndertakingNavjot Singh now faces a total of 14 charges related to this case.
