A man was seen without pants following someone early Friday, and later, he pulled down his shorts in front of another person during a second incident on Saturday.

This man exposed himself in two separate incidents in Markham on Friday and Saturday.

A person reported being followed by a man who was naked from the waist down while walking near Hillcroft Drive and Gillingham Avenue on July 17, around 1:20 a. m., according to a news release from York Regional Police.

The suspect ran away when the victim called for help.

Another report of an indecent act involving the same individual came in the next day, police mentioned.

On Saturday, July 18, just before 1 a. m., a man pulled down his shorts and showed himself to someone walking near Marydale Avenue and Elson Street. He then fled west on Elson toward Markham Road.

The suspect is described as male, Asian, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, with black curly hair and glasses, according to police.

Investigators think there might be other victims and are urging anyone with information to step forward.

If you were in either area during these incidents or saw anything suspicious or have details that could help with the investigation, please contact police.

Authorities remind everyone to stay alert while walking alone at night and to call 911 right away if they notice something unusual or feel unsafe.

If you have any information, reach out to the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau Unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7541. You can also provide anonymous tips by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting www.1800222tips. com.
