York police have identified a man they believe is behind the sexual assaults of four women within the last week in Markham.
In all four cases, the same suspect was seen riding a bicycle at night on Edward Jeffreys Avenue, between Markham Road and Roy Rainey Avenue.
He was found and arrested yesterday.
Abdul Basit Raufi, 22, from Markham is facing four counts of sexual assault along with one count of disguise with intent.
Authorities think there could be more victims. Raufi also has connections to Brampton.
They mention he might have made changes to his appearance and could have looked different during the incidents.
