Two individuals, including a teenager, sustained serious injuries after a crash in Scarborough.
Emergency responders are looking into a major two-car accident that left one driver with life-threatening injuries late Friday night.
According to a news release from Toronto police, the incident occurred around 11:15 p. m. near the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road.

Authorities report that an 18-year-old man was driving a white 2018 Toyota Camry westbound on Lawrence Avenue East when it collided with a grey 2015 Lexus ES 300, which was being driven eastbound by a 36-year-old man who attempted to turn left into a plaza.
Police stated that the driver of the Lexus was thrown from his vehicle.
The 36-year-old Lexus driver was quickly taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
