A Kitchener man is facing an assault charge following a dispute outside a business in Sault Ste. Marie.
Early Sunday at about 2:00 a. m., police responded to a call at the establishment located on Queen Street East.
According to reports, one man struck another several times after he was denied transportation.
The two men involved did not know each other prior to this incident.
Matthew Broderick, aged 31 from Kitchener, has been charged with assault as well as public intoxication.
Police mentioned that the victim suffered minor injuries.
