Drug Charges Filed Against South Frontenac Man

Drug Charges Filed Against South Frontenac Man

According to an announcement from the OPP, in April 2026, officers started a drug probe linked to areas including Frontenac, Lennox & Addington County, and Kingston.

“On May 13, 2026, officers conducted a traffic stop in Napanee as part of the ongoing investigation,” the OPP explained.

“Just over 500 grams of suspected methamphetamine and about $3,000 in Canadian cash was seized.”

As a result, Lindsay Patterson, 41 years old, from South Frontenac Township was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine Possession of property obtained by crime, under $5,000Fail to comply with probation order Breach of recognizance

The next day, Thursday, May 14, 2026, OPP East Region CSCU carried out a search warrant at a home in Whitby with help from the Durham Regional Police Tactical Unit as mentioned in the release.

Officers confiscated these items:

Two firearms loaded with ammunition Stolen Ford F-150Over 2,000 g of suspected cocaine Approximately 4,200 g of suspected methamphetamine Over 715 g of MDMASuspected psilocybin, fentanyl and heroin Almost $14,000 in Canadian currency Cellphones Digital scales Other items associated with drug trafficking

From this investigation, Tullaram Naraine, 34 years old and Lisa Seetaram, 33 years old both from Whitby were arrested and charged with:

Two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes Two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm Knowledge of an unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm Two counts of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition Two counts of possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition Two counts of careless storage of firearm or weapon or prohibited device or ammunition Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – MDMAPossession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – heroin Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other Possessionof Schedule IIIsubstanceforthepurposeoftrafficking-psilocybin Possessionofproceedspropertyobtainedbycrimeover$5.000Possessionofpropertyobtainedbycrimeover$5.000

Police noted that Naraine is also charged with:

Two counts offirearmora mmunitioncontrarytoprohibitionorder Traffickinginschedule I substancemethamphetamine

All three individuals were held in custody pending their bail hearing.
