Canadian Stars Simu Liu and Andre De Grasse Join NBA Celebrity Game

Simu Liu from Mississauga and Andre De Grasse from Markham are set to participate in the 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

The 2026 Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game will take place on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p. m., featuring a lineup of celebrities and athletes ready to hit the court as part of All-Star Weekend at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Here’s a look at who else fans can expect to see compete in this year’s celebrity event.

NBA Celebrity Game 2026 team rosters

Liu and De Grasse will be joined by Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers, renowned producer Mustard, former NBA champ Jason “White Chocolate” Williams, and Nicolas Vansteenberghe from Love Island USA, among others.

Their squad will be coached by Emmy-winning actor Anthony Anderson, shooting coach Lethal Shooter, and development trainer Chris Brickley.

Their opponents will include actor Keegan-Michael Key, ESPN insider Shams Charania, FIFA World Cup champion Cafu, Detroit Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown, former Raptor Jeremy Lin, and rapper Glo Rilla who is Brandon Ingram’s partner.

Coaching their team will be NBA brothers Giannis, Thanasis, and Alex Antetokounmpo along with World Series champion Mookie Betts.

This year marks a first as K-pop group CORTIS takes center stage during halftime for an exciting performance.

Raptors head coach Rajakovic to coach Team World at NBA All-Star Game

Following a strong start to the regular season, Darko Rajakovic has been named head coach of Team World for this year’s NBA All-Star Game.

Rajakovic will lead players like Giannis Antetokounmpo from Greece, Nikola Jokic from Serbia, Victor Wembanyama from France, and Deni Avdija from Israel.

This new ‘U. S. vs. World’ format is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California at 5 p. m.
