Police have charged a woman from Burlington in connection with a theft and fraud case at an Ontario hospital.

The OPP reports that officers from the Orillia detachment started looking into the matter after getting multiple complaints about theft and fraud from both patients and staff at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.

Nassim Erron, 34, of Burlington, has been charged with disobeying a court order and making false statements in writing.

It is said that she was working at the hospital during the time these incidents took place.

Authorities are urging anyone who was either a patient or staff member at the hospital between April 2025 and March 2026 to check their credit card statements “and report any suspected theft or fraudulent activity.”

The investigation is still ongoing, and police believe there could be more victims.

If you have any information regarding this incident, please reach out to the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122. You can also provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting www. ontariocrimestoppers. ca. When you contact Crime Stoppers you stay anonymous, never have to testify, and could receive a $2,000 reward.
