A couple from Brampton, Donato Pento and Neuza Tavarez, have been taken into custody over allegations of running a bank fraud operation. They are said to have used forged documents to open bank accounts and moved nearly $90,000 into their accounts. The fraudulent acts reportedly took place at multiple bank locations, involving impersonations to set up accounts and withdraw money. Fortunately, the banks involved have already reimbursed the affected victims.
