A 44-year-old man from Brampton is currently in critical condition after a road rage incident that took place in Orangeville.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported that just after 5:30 p. m. on October 10, they received calls regarding a road rage event that turned into an assault on Third Street.
The injured Brampton man was airlifted to a trauma center with injuries considered life-threatening.
Brandon Demerchant, 33, from Orangeville has been charged with aggravated assault. Authorities say he has already had a bail hearing and is still in custody.
No further details about the situation were immediately released.
