A motorcyclist was reportedly stuck under another vehicle; Highway 11 south was closed for several hours, according to police.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 11 South in Gravenhurst on Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened near Sparrow Lake Route D around 3:50 p. m., and the rider of the motorcycle was said to be trapped beneath another vehicle.

As per Bracebridge OPP, the motorcycle operator sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 11 South was shut down at Kilworthy Road so that police could investigate the accident.

Late Thursday night, following their investigation, the OPP charged a teen with multiple offences.

Gardiner Zinn, an 18-year-old from Angus, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, driving while having cannabis readily available, and driving a motor vehicle against G2 conditions.

None of these charges have been proven in court yet.

The accused is set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 7.
