A 33-year-old man from Wasaga Beach is facing charges following a child sexual exploitation investigation.
The Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, along with Peel Regional Police, carried out a search warrant at a home in Wasaga Beach on June 23, taking several electronic devices into custody.
Authorities report that the suspect was taken into custody on Sept. 12.
He has been charged with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, one count each of creating and accessing such material, as well as one count of voyeurism.
The individual is set to appear in court on Oct. 27.
