A 47-year-old man from Windsor is facing charges following a serious crash in Kingsville that resulted in a man being hospitalized Saturday night.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported that the two-vehicle collision occurred just before 11 p. m. at the intersection of County Road 20 and Mc Cain Side Road.

One of the drivers, a 65-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.

The other driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and operation causing bodily harm. In addition, a 90-day license suspension was issued, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

In another incident over the weekend, OPP charged another Windsor driver with impaired operation after receiving a traffic complaint in Lakeshore. This driver is set to appear in court in September to address the charges.
