A troubling situation has arisen in Whitby, Ontario, where Brother Sherwin Barnes, who has faced years of anti-Black racism and false claims, is working to save his dogs from being put down.

Whitby Animal Services has taken Brother Sherwin’s dogs into custody, citing questionable concerns regarding public safety. However, many supporters believe this action reflects systemic racism and ongoing harassment.

The African Diaspora News is advocating for Brother Sherwin, calling on the community to seek justice and demand the immediate return of his dogs. A social media campaign is gaining traction with the hashtags

#Justice For Sherwin and #Return The Dogs.

“We will not stand idly by while our brother faces this gross injustice,” said a spokesperson for the African Diaspora News. “We call on Whitby Animal Services to reconsider their decision and return Brother Sherwin’s beloved dogs to him.”

The community is coming together in support of Brother Sherwin, denouncing the clear anti-Black racism and harassment he has experienced. The situation has sparked widespread outrage, with many calling for accountability from Whitby Animal Services.

TAKE ACTION:

– Follow @African Diaspora News for updates on Brother Sherwin’s case
– Tag @Whitby Animal Services and demand they #Return The Dogs

Together, we can make a difference and ensure justice for Brother Sherwin Barnes.
