Laurie passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026, at the age of 65. She is now reunited with her dear husband of 40 years, Craig (2024). Loving mother to Matthew (Elise), Andrew, and Jessica. Proud Namma to Katie, George, Julia, and Eleanor. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Linda Farrah, as well as her mother-in-law Marion. A devoted daughter-in-law to Ted Hussey (Brenda). Caring sister to Joanne Horton (Dave), Margie Farrah, Marie Virag (Steve) (late Bob Smith), Tony Farrah (Anne), Julie Lendorf (late Emil), late Joseph Farrah (Vicky), Anne Girard (late Ron), Chris Farrah, Michelle Ingolfo (Serafino), and sister-in-law to Susan Vermast (Mike) and Dave Hussey (Barb). Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends will miss her dearly.

Laurie retired from Windsor Family Credit Union after dedicating 35 years there. Over the years she took on various roles before finishing her career in administration.

She had a passion for disco music and couldn’t resist dancing whenever she could. With her patient nature, positive attitude, and gentle spirit, Laurie brightened the lives of everyone around her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her four grandchildren, who truly brought sparkle into her life.

In accordance with Laurie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until the Eulogies at 1:00 pm in the Chapel.

If you wish to honor Laurie’s memory with a kind gesture, donations can be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. You may also share online condolences and memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
