BURLINGTON, ON

There’s another reason to choose Burlington as your home – even if taxes are high and rent feels out of reach.

How many insurance claims will this work out to?

With auto insurance rates on the rise in Ontario, drivers may be changing how they approach collisions. A recent study looks at the link between accident history and risky driving habits across cities in Ontario, highlighting places where these trends don’t quite add up, which might suggest some issues with reporting accidents.

See the full report here: https://www. mychoice. ca/blog/ontario-cities-with-largest-accident-reporting-gaps/

Key Findings:

When even a small at-fault collision can lead to an increase of nearly $1,800 annually in insurance costs that can last anywhere from three to six years, drivers find themselves making tough financial choices. Since bumper and sensor repairs often range from $1,500 to $2,000 and most drivers have deductibles over $1,000, paying for repairs out of pocket can seem like a more affordable option upfront, despite potentially creating long-term risks.
