Update 2: At 9 a. m., police reported that the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW at the Burlington Skyway had reopened after a crash involving two passenger vehicles that led to a fire.
Update: The OPP stated that the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW, which were shut down just before the Burlington Skyway, are expected to reopen before 8 a. m.
By 7:30 a. m., one right lane was allowing traffic through, according to police.
No injuries have been reported, police added.

This morning, the QEW was completely blocked due to a crash and vehicle fire.
The incident caused a fire in one of the passenger vehicles on the Toronto-bound lanes of the highway near the Burlington Skyway, as stated by the Ontario Provincial Police just before 7 a. m.
No injuries have been noted at this time, according to the OPP.
The highway remained fully blocked.
