Teresa “Teri” Lee Wilde OBITUARY
Teresa “Teri” Lee Wilde, 74, passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2026, after living with cancer. She was a dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, and loyal friend. Teri had a sharp mind, loved learning new things, and was full of creativity. Her generous nature and strong independence were truly inspiring. She enjoyed traveling, loved her pets dearly, and valued time spent with family and lifelong friends. A proud graduate of Westridge School for Girls and the University of California, Irvine, Teri dedicated 53 years to Bank of America. She later moved into Community Development where she found work that matched her values and gave her a sense of purpose. Helping finance affordable housing projects for families in need was something she took great pride in. Outside of her job, Teri devoted a lot of time to volunteering. She was involved with the Junior League of Los Angeles, the Downtown Women’s Center, the Friends of the La Cañada Flintridge Library, and The Gamble House in Pasadena. Additionally, she regularly sent letters and care packages to military service members stationed far from home. Teri had a passion for history and reading; she loved discussing books in her club. French culture fascinated her as did music-she attended concerts by both The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. A collector at heart, she gathered antique silver pieces along with art and orchids. Her creativity shone through in knitting, needlepoint projects, and handmade cards that she lovingly crafted for family and friends. Teri is survived by her siblings Cecily (Wilde) Bishop (John) and Stanleigh Kellord Wilde along with six nieces and nephews plus ten great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and Urban Wilde. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pasadena Humane Society or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
