Nottawasaga OPP states that officers received word of a suspected impaired driver behind the wheel of a tow truck on Victoria Street shortly before 4 p. m. on May 9.
Police say they found the vehicle within minutes after it parked in a nearby lot and started an impaired driving investigation after talking to the driver.
A 43-year-old resident of New Tecumseth, whose name hasn’t been released, has been charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration over 80).
