A man from Kitchener is facing multiple charges following an eight-month investigation into human trafficking.
Waterloo regional police have arrested 35-year-old Tyson Vanderpool.
Among the eight charges are human trafficking and promoting sexual services.
The investigation continues, as authorities suspect there may be additional victims.

This comes as WRPS data indicates that the rate of human trafficking victimization in Waterloo Region is 70% higher than the Ontario average and 178% higher than the national figure.
