Environment Canada has lifted the severe thunderstorm warning.
The advisory included risks of tornadoes, hail the size of loonies, and winds reaching up to 90 kilometres per hour.
This alert was active on Saturday afternoon for Goderich, Bluewater, Chatham-Kent, and Southern Huron County.
According to Environment Canada, this warning was issued as a line of thunderstorms formed in Michigan and is expected to move eastward.
A tornado warning that was previously active for Southwestern Ontario has also been canceled.
At 4:25 p. m. on Saturday, Environment Canada sent out the alert advising residents to seek shelter when severe weather approaches.
