Officers and fire crews responded to the accident at the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Aberarder Line on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators state that two people were pronounced dead at the scene while one other suffered minor injuries.
The intersection of Lakeshore Road and Aberarder Line is expected to remain closed for quite some time.
Authorities say they will share updates as they continue to look into the incident.
