Halton police are reaching out to the community for assistance in finding a missing 15-year-old girl from Oakville.
Investigators report that Lamar Barakat was last spotted on foot at about 8:50 a. m. on May 4 near Stornoway Circle and Valleyridge Drive in Oakville.
Authorities describe her as being five feet tall, with light skin, a slim build, and long curly black hair.
She was wearing a navy t-shirt, grey pants, white Nike shoes with a red logo, and carrying a navy blue Under Armour backpack with red stitching.
Both police and her family are worried about her safety.
Investigators believe she may have traveled to the Toronto area.
If anyone has information regarding Lamar’s whereabouts, they are urged to contact the police by calling 9-1-1 or using their non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
