During a signing event, President Trump told a group of children that Iran could have developed a nuclear weapon “in two weeks” and launched attacks on Israel and the U. S. in 2026 if he hadn’t initiated military action.

As Trump praised himself for “stopping 8 wars,” he shifted the focus to Iran while mentioning his aspirations for a Nobel Peace Prize.

“We can’t allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon. You might not know this yet,” Trump said, looking at the kids around him. “But they probably understand more than most adults. You just can’t let crazies have access to nuclear arms,” he added.

“So we just hit records on the Dow,” Trump continued, recounting his conversation after the market achieved a milestone earlier this year. “We broke every record and now we’re going to face consequences because we have to go down to Iran to prevent them from getting that nuclear weapon,” Trump elaborated. “They would have had it in just two weeks.”

<p"Don't forget we sent that impressive B-2 bomber in and took out their nuclear capabilities," claimed Trump.

“It was destroyed for those who don’t know, enough so that it would take them weeks to rebuild, and we wouldn’t allow them that time; we’d be watching it constantly, but it was extremely important,” he kept going.

“So without our intervention, Iran would have had a nuclear weapon, and perhaps none of us would be here today. I can assure you the Middle East would be gone, Israel would be gone, and they’d set their sights on Europe first before coming for us because they’re dangerous people,” said Trump.

“These are dangerous people. And we’re not going to allow lunatics access to nuclear weapons. The power of such weapons is something I don’t even want to discuss. It’s not going to happen. And we’ve really weakened them.. now they’re left with tiny boats armed with machine guns instead of their navy of 159 ships,” Trump said as the kids listened intently.

The children were present for the signing of a proclamation related to the Presidential Fitness Test.

However, Trump went off on an Iran tangent for quite some time before eventually bringing the discussion back around to physical fitness.

“Every single ship in their fleet was taken out within that first week, right Pete?” Trump asked Pete Hegseth, who stood behind him during the signing event. “Every one of those ships is sitting at the bottom of the ocean now; they no longer have a navy-it’s completely destroyed-just like their Air Force-so we’re doing well overall-but it’s all about creating a strong country,” Trump paused briefly before continuing.

“And when they talk about physical fitness, one thing I’ve noticed about my friends and all these great athletes here is their minds work better than those who aren’t fit,” Trump stated proudly.
