A driver from Kitchener has been charged following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in The Blue Mountains.
The Collingwood OPP was called to the scene of the accident on Grey Road 19 at about 8:30 p. m. on January 31.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene.
This prompted provincial police to launch an investigation, which led to the arrest of a suspect on February 5.
The individual accused is a 31-year-old man from Kitchener, facing charges for failing to stop after an accident that resulted in injury.
The OPP is still looking for witnesses or anyone who might have dash cam footage of a grey Acura CSX with noticeable front-end damage that traveled between Collingwood and Port Elgin on January 31 or February 1.
