Authorities are searching for two individuals who ran away from the scene following an accident late Friday afternoon on Highway 401 in Ontario.
The OPP reported that the crash took place just before 5:30 p. m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 close to Brock Road in Pickering.
A man and a woman, both occupants of a Porsche involved in the incident, are believed to have escaped on foot.
The driver is described as a 22-year-old Black man with black hair, wearing a black jacket. The passenger is identified as a Black woman dressed in a black vest and pink shirt, with her hair styled in braids.
Last seen heading south on Brock Road was the woman, while the man was spotted on Westney Road in Ajax.
