Bernie Mantay passed away peacefully at the age of 62, surrounded by his loving family on March 6, 2026. He was a devoted husband for 24 years to Daniela Bulz. Proud Dada of Katarina and Martina. He was also a caring brother to Ron (Erica) and Werner (Paula). Bernie has been reunited with his parents, Rudy and Emilie Mantay.
He had an amazing sense of humour that could light up the darkest days and bring smiles to those around him. His passion for music was a constant joy in his life, which he loved sharing with his daughters. More than anything, he took great pride in his family. His biggest happiness came from being a father, and he was incredibly proud of his two girls, who were truly the light of his life.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service starts at 12:00 pm in the Chapel. Cremation will follow.
