Start your Oktoberfest adventure at the Willkommen Platz, which translates to “Welcome Place.” Watch Downtown Kitchener transform into a lively Bavarian village! The highlight of Oktoberfest is the annual parade featuring floats, inflatables, and bands parading down Weber Street. This event is free for everyone. However, there’s limited bleacher seating available for those wanting optimal views of the parade. The Onkel Hans Food Drive will be collecting cash donations and non-perishable food items for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. The Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 9:30 a. m. This exciting event will be broadcasted across Canada to millions of viewers.Oktoberfest golf experience
On Monday, September 8, 2025, enjoy a few rounds of tournament-style golf at Galt Country Club, one of Ontario’s top private golf clubs. The day begins with an Oktoberfest-themed lunch and keg tapping ceremony followed by prizes on each hole.Live music
Apart from live performances at Willkommen Platz, popular artists also take the stage at the Oktoberfest KOOLHAUS, a venue for ages 19 and up. Featured artists include Theory of a Deadman, I Mother Earth and Tim Hicks. They’ll be accompanied by the Haus Band and The Golden Keys. Please check the event calendar for specific dates and times.
