Obituary of Iordan Iaru
In loving memory of Iordan Iaru January 2, 1939 – January 29, 2026
With great sadness, we share that Iordan Iaru has left us on January 29, 2026 at the age of 87.
He is now reunited with his parents, Iordan and Maria Iaru in heaven. He was a devoted father to his three daughters Daniela Rosca, Gabriela Ebner, and Liliana Glen. He was also a proud grandfather to Elizabeth Sexton (Canaan), Eddie Sexton III (Ashley), Otis Sexton (Isabella), Talida Holden (Curtis), Kurt Ebner, Kyle Glen, and Ryan Glen. As a great-grandfather, he adored Samaria, Canaan, Ellyana, Elijah, and Enzo. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews Rodica and George, Persida and Ion.
The arrangements have been made through Windsor Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Windsor Chapel (CENTRAL) Funeral Home (519-253-7234) located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. The Chapel Service will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 11:00am with Fr. George Sandulescu officiating in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 1100 Division Rd.
