HYTTENRAUCH, Patricia Agnes (Née Laycock)

Pat passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2026, just one week after turning 85. She was the loving wife of Ed (2008) for 45 years. Pat was a devoted mother to David (Dee Miner) in Calgary, Jeff (Connie Zorgdrager) in Stratford, and Laura (Larry Hawker) in Waterloo. She also adored her grandchildren: Elizabeth Hawker, Andrew Hyttenrauch, Emily Hawker, Soleil Hyttenrauch, and her great-grandchildren Alexis and Rosalie Zorgdrager. She was predeceased by her parents John and Alice Laycock. Pat was a dear sister to Joan, Art, Bill (2017), Violet (Don Streeter), and Ken (Nancy). A heartfelt thank you goes out to her sister-in-law Sharon Harris as well as Pat’s siblings who provided so much support during her final months. For many years, Pat worked as a teacher with the Windsor Board of Education. She was an active member of St. Aidan’s Church (An Anglican Diocese of Canada Parish), serving for many years as a Church Warden and helping guide the parish through tough times. Pat had a passion for travel, with Scotland being one of her favorite destinations.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and again from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 519-253-7234 located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11am at St. Aidan’s Church (An Anglican Diocese of Canada Parish) at 1991 Norman Rd., Windsor ON. Afterward, there will be a procession to Victoria Memorial Gardens for interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scleroderma Canada (www. scleroderma. ca) or St. Aidan’s Church (An Anglican Diocese of Canada Parish) (www. staidanswindsor. ca).
