BRAMPTON – A man who was wanted across Canada in connection with a homicide in the Toronto area has been taken into custody.
Peel regional police report that the 41-year-old suspect faced charges of first-degree murder and was arrested on Monday.
He is currently being held pending a bail hearing.
The charge relates to a shooting incident that occurred in Brampton, Ont., during the early hours of May 11, 2024.
Authorities state that officers discovered a victim suffering from gunshot wounds and transported him to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Dayne Gordon from Toronto.
