The Ontario Court of Appeals has confirmed the sexual assault conviction of ex-Hamilton You Tuber Jack Densmore.

In an Instagram video shared a day before the ruling, Densmore, also known as “Denmo,” insisted he was innocent.

He sought to have the sexual assault verdict overturned and requested a new jury trial.

The court rejected his appeal on Monday, stating that the trial judge had correctly evaluated the evidence.

This decision means Densmore must serve his three-year prison sentence from his July 2024 trial.

During that trial, it was revealed that Densmore recorded what he called a “consent video” with his phone, but the victim claimed it was an attempt to make a sex video.

The judge concluded that Densmore had forced intercourse with the woman.

After his conviction, You Tube terminated Densmore’s four channels for violating policies.

A spokesperson for You Tube stated, “If a You Tube creator’s on- and/or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, employees or ecosystem, we may respond based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the egregiousness of their actions and whether a pattern of harmful behavior exists. Our response will range from suspending a creator’s privileges to account termination.”
