Niagara regional police are looking into a deadly tent fire that occurred in St. Catharines, Ont.

According to reports, officers were patrolling early Tuesday morning near Glendale Avenue.

During their patrol, they discovered a tent engulfed in flames within the wooded area of Mountain Locks Park.

The police stated that firefighters managed to put out the fire and found a deceased male at the scene. The investigation is being conducted alongside the Ontario Fire Marshal.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to them. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting www. ontariocrimestoppers. ca.
