A man has lost his life following an industrial accident in Brampton on Wednesday, according to Peel police.
The incident took place near Auction Lane and Queen Street, as reported by police. Officers arrived at the scene around 4:15 p. m.
Emergency responders found a man without any vital signs and attempted CPR, but he was pronounced dead on site, police stated.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death or provided information about the man’s age or job. The location appears to be a large area filled with parked vehicles.
Ontario’s Ministry of Labour indicated in an email that they were informed about the death at an industrial yard in Brampton on Wednesday. Inspectors from the ministry are set to investigate the scene, as mentioned by the ministry.
Peel police noted that while the ministry will take charge of the investigation, members from their 21 Division criminal investigation bureau will assist. No further details have been released.
