A man and a woman have been charged with drug trafficking after someone died in Simcoe on Saturday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a call about an unresponsive person at a location on Queen Street North at 2 p. m. on Oct. 3.
“A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death to be a drug overdose,” said police.
Two suspects were taken into custody and charged regarding the person’s death.
Hannah Brochu, 19, from Oxford County, and Thomas Mac Leod, 22, from Haldimand County are both facing charges related to opioid trafficking.
