A 39-year-old resident of Norfolk County has been charged with an indecent act that occurred at a business in Simcoe.
The Norfolk OPP received a call on Aug. 23 regarding the incident at a location on Concession 13 Townsend.
According to police, two individuals interacted at the business, during which one person committed an indecent act.
Police Request Help in Turkey Point Threats Case
The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to an ongoing threats investigation in Turkey Point.
On Thursday, Aug. 20 around 12:30 p. m., Norfolk OPP officers responded to reports of threats made at a site on Turkey Point Road.
It is reported that between 7 p. m. and 9 p. m. the night before, a man approached two individuals while brandishing an “edged weapon” and then fled in a white Honda SUV.
The suspect is described as being in his early 40s, with a heavier build, scruffy beard, and short dark hair. He was wearing a red shirt and grey pants.

Four Individuals Charged in Intimate Partner Violence Cases
This week four people were charged related to recent intimate partner violence investigations.
<p On Monday, Aug. 17, Norfolk OPP looked into reports of harassment occurring at a residence in the county.
<p Police reported that the victim received ongoing unwanted electronic communications.
<p A Kitchener teen aged 17 has been charged with harassing communications.
<p On Thursday, Aug. 20, officers investigated another report of unwanted electronic messages sent to another victim.
<p A Burlington resident aged 42 faces charges for harassing communications.
<p Later that same day, officers dealt with yet another case involving unwanted electronic messages from different addresses within Norfolk County.
A St. Thomas resident aged 28 has been charged with criminal harassment and failure to comply with undertaking requirements.
<p All accused parties are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe.
<p On Wednesday, Aug. 19th, officers also responded to mischief reports involving damage done to someone else's property within Norfolk County.
A resident aged 53 from Norfolk is facing charges of mischief – domestic and is scheduled for court appearance as well.

Two Arrested After Separate Impaired Driving Incidents
<p Two individuals have been charged following distinct impaired driving investigations conducted in Simcoe.
A Haldimand County driver was stopped during a RIDE program by police on Friday night around 11:20 p. m., along Norfolk Street North while facing multiple charges including operating while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus); operation while prohibited; driving under suspension; suspected under HTA section 41/42; driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available; and driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
Later that night around 3:30 a. m., an officer conducted another traffic stop on Queensway West where they arrested a 34-year-old resident from Norfolk County who faces similar charges including operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus); driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor; and drive motor vehicle – no license.
