Kingston Police are asking for witnesses to the collision on Battersea Road that occurred on Sept. 22 and resulted in one fatality.
The incident happened around 8:30 a. m. between Aragon Road and Downsview Drive.
A white SUV heading north on Battersea Road collided with a black SUV going south in an offset front-end crash.
The 37-year-old driver of the southbound SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while two passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
The 40-year-old driver of the northbound SUV was taken to the hospital, where they remain in serious, life-threatening condition.
The cause of this accident is still being investigated.

Investigators are requesting anyone who may have seen either vehicle before the collision or witnessed the crash itself, or has video footage from that area, to reach out to Det. Jon Cerutti at jcerutti@kingstonpolice. ca.
They also want to talk to the driver of a small black hatchback that was traveling north on Battersea Road between Aragon Road and Downsview Drive during the time of the collision.
