With heavy hearts, the family of Roxanne Elaine Medendorp, age 43, shares that she passed away in hospital early on September 12, 2026, after a long illness.
Roxanne was a lot of things: strong, creative, smart, passionate, quirky and unique. She loved her family dearly and had a soft spot for animals. She was an excellent cook at home and enjoyed chasing Pokémon as well as being a Star Wars enthusiast. Although she took great pride in earning her PEng and working as a civil engineer, nothing brought her more joy than being a mom to her little guy, Dexter Killean.
She will always be loved by the light of her life-her son Dexter; her parents Ed and Joann; her siblings: Michelle (Josh), Zachari (Diana), Samantha (Gio); and her four wonderful nieces: Kaley, Ryleigh, Brianna, and Danielle; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Granny, Grampa, Oma, Opa G., Opa TJ., an aunt, an uncle and a cousin.
Roxanne valued her privacy deeply; therefore there will be no funeral service. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by her side and supported them over the years.
