A 17-year-old boy is now facing an attempted murder charge after a man suffered critical injuries due to a stabbing in Mississauga.
Peel Region police report that an argument between two individuals at a home in the Indian Grove and Indian Road area turned violent around 3 p. m. on Friday.
“Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim with multiple lacerations, and he is currently in life-threatening condition,” said Insp. Matt Miller.
The man was transported to a local trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators took a 17-year-old into custody at the scene and recovered an edged weapon. He is expected to face charges of attempted murder.
Miller mentioned that the man and the boy are related, but did not clarify their specific relationship.
