Authorities are looking into a case where two cars caught fire on a driveway in a residential area of Richmond Hill.
York Regional Police (YRP) responded to a call at a home located near the intersection of Regent and Oxford streets, close to Bathurst Street and Elgin Mills Road West, just after 2 a. m. on Friday.
The fire has been classified as suspicious, but no details about potential suspects have been shared yet.
No injuries were reported; however, the residents were evacuated as a safety measure.
The flames were contained to the driveway and did not spread to the house, and they have now been extinguished.
