Canadian artist Sass Jordan has called off her remaining shows for this year.
She was set to perform in Thunder Bay, Dryden, and Fort Frances later this month.
A message sent to concert organizers from Jordan’s team states that the 63-year-old is facing what they describe as a serious medical issue and has been advised to take a break from all engagements for the remainder of the year.
“Sass is very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and greatly appreciates your understanding under these circumstances,” the message reads.

The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium has announced that anyone who bought tickets for the Thunder Bay concert through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds.
Its box office is also reaching out to those who purchased tickets directly from the auditorium.
Online purchases for the Dryden performance will similarly be refunded automatically.
The Dryden Entertainment Series asks series subscribers to wait for more information.
Tour De Fort in Fort Frances is exploring options for an alternative act to complete its six-show season.
They say more details will be shared once a new performance is confirmed.
