CLAYTON, Mo. – An Oakville couple has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving children, such as sodomy, child molestation, and providing pornographic material to a minor.
According to statements from the St. Louis County Police Department, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Blue Mountain Drive in Oakville on Thursday, June 18, following a report from the Missouri Children’s Division.
Authorities reported that Marissa E. Thomas, 37, and Christopher T. Stewart, 35, reside together at the property along with several minor children.
The home was found to be infested with rodent droppings and animal feces, exposed insulation, and other hazardous conditions within the residence, police stated.

Officers spoke with children who live in the house as well as others who visit frequently. Investigators discovered that Thomas had exposed herself to one child, showed others videos of adults engaging in sexual acts, groped one of those children mentioned earlier, and performed a sexual act on another child.
Police claim that Stewart subjected one child under 12 years old to various sexual acts and made inappropriate physical contact with another child under 17.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Thomas with second-degree sodomy, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, fourth degree child molestation involving a child less than 17 years old, and two counts of providing pornographic material to a minor. Stewart faces charges of first-degree statutory rape involving someone under 14 years old, two counts of statutory sodomy involving deviate sexual intercourse, and two counts of fourth degree child molestation concerning minors under 17 years old.
Thomas was taken into custody on June 18 while Stewart was arrested on June 22. Thomas is currently being held on a $2 million cash-only bond; Stewart’s bond is set at $300 thousand cash-only.
