The Windsor Police Service says its officers are currently on the scene for an active investigation at the Ambassador Bridge.
“One suspect has been apprehended and there is no risk to public safety,” a WPS spokesperson told CBC in an email.
“The public can expect delays and possible traffic disruptions at the Ambassador Bridge while the investigation continues.”
A representative for the Ambassador Bridge said in a statement that traffic is flowing in both directions at the bridge and “the incident is now over.”
“We cannot provide comment on it, as it is under CBSA’s control,” Kenneth Dobson, vice-president of the Detroit International Bridge Company, said via email.
