This morning, a fire involving a transport truck has caused lane closures on Highway 401 in Mississauga.
Emergency services arrived at the scene of the fire in the eastbound collector lanes near Winston Churchill Boulevard shortly before 2 a. m., according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
No injuries were reported.
As of 4 a. m., the eastbound collector lanes remained completely shut down at Winston Churchill Boulevard and were expected to stay closed for several more hours while clean-up efforts took place, police stated.
The express lanes are fully open.
