Le Roy Floyd Brockett’s Obituary
Le Roy Floyd Brockett was born on October 3, 1937, in Clovis, California. He passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 89 in Ontario, Oregon. Le Roy worked hard throughout his life and had a love for the outdoors. For more than 40 years, he was employed in telephone communications with Mountain Bell, AT& T, BSU, and Ore-Ida Communications. He took pride in his work ethic and had a great sense of humor along with wonderful storytelling abilities. During this time, he and his first wife Margaret raised their four daughters in Boise, Idaho. They enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with great friends. Le Roy is survived by his daughters Jennifer Brockett, Pamela Johnson (and her husband Rusty Johnson), Christy Haszier (and her husband Charles Haszier), and Julia Mc Millen; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; his sisters Nonie Floyd and Judy Pearson; as well as many nieces and nephews; his second wife Jeanette; son Dallas; and daughter Emilee.He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Laura Brockett along with his sisters Sandy and Susie. Le Roy leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, hard work, kindness along with stories and jokes that will continue to be shared.
