A federal offender who often visits Waterloo Region has been apprehended again by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
According to police, Evan Haney was found by officers in Waterloo.
Haney had gone unlawfully at large starting on June 8.
Back in December 2025, he was previously arrested in Barrie after another incident where he vanished.
Evan Haney, aged 29, is currently serving a two-year and three-month sentence for various convictions such as break and enter, assault with a weapon, and theft under $5,000.
