Two individuals sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Brampton on Sunday afternoon.
Peel police were dispatched to the scene of the crash near Chinguacousy Road and Dusk Drive at around 3:50 p. m.
Among the vehicles involved, one car overturned.
A woman was transported to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries. Later updates from police indicated that her injuries were not life threatening. It remains unclear whether she was driving or riding as a passenger.
A man, who is thought to be the driver of one of the other vehicles, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Dusk Drive eastbound was closed at Chinguacousy Road and southbound Chinguacousy Road was blocked at Bonnie Braes Drive, but all roads have since reopened.
