Community Living Wallaceburg and the Ontario Caregiver Organization are reaching out to caregivers to participate in a survey that will help shape future supports, services, and opportunities within the Wallaceburg and Bkejwanong communities.

The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO), which used to be known as the Care & Share Family Network, receives funding from the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services to assist families and unpaid caregivers.

Community Living Wallaceburg is eager to hear from local caregivers through a Family Caregiver Survey. This initiative aims to rebuild the Care & Share Family Network so that it accurately reflects local experiences.

“Improving family support in our region will strengthen our understanding of lived experience, bring forward the real-world expertise of caregivers, and broaden the diversity of perspectives that inform our work,” said Roger Romses, Executive Director of Community Living Wallaceburg. “The information gathered through this survey will help ensure Community Living Wallaceburg’s programs and strategic direction remain grounded in the needs of families.”

The survey is open until September 15. You can find it here.
