Environment Canada has issued another heat warning for Southwestern Ontario.
The advisory indicates temperatures could soar between 30 to 36 degrees Celsius, with humidex readings hitting 38 to 45.
Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day of this heat wave, reaching up to 36 degrees in some regions.
The yellow warning serves as a reminder that extreme heat can impact anyone’s health. People are advised to look out for early signs of heat exhaustion, stay well-hydrated, use air conditioning or open windows when it’s cooler outside, limit exposure to direct sunlight, and plan outdoor activities during the cooler times of the day.
The elevated temperatures and humid conditions may also result in worsening air quality.
Environment Canada has set this alert starting Monday and expects it will continue until either Wednesday or Thursday evening.
